The Nehalem Bay Area offers a choice of locations for your camping vacation – depending on your camping style. Ocean, river, woods? Tent or RV? You’ll find it here.

Nehalem Bay State Park is south of Manzanita and is located on a spit with Nehalem Bay on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The campground features a variety of camping options: yurts, full RV hook-ups, tent camping, a horse camp with individual corrals, fly-in camping (next to airstrip) and hiker/biker camping. There is boat parking and a boat ramp. Pets allowed. See web page for fees and other information.

Also on the river is Roy Creek Park (county), a small park with a few campsites, toilets but no other services, running water or hook-ups. There is a $4 fee per night.

PLEASE NOTE: Camping is no longer allowed anywhere on Manzanita Beach. Also due to risk from falling trees camping is no longer available at Short Sands Beach in Oswald West State Park.
