Wheeler’s fiscal year runs from July 1st through June 30th. Its budget is adopted by the city council before or on June 30th of the prior fiscal year. The budget is adopted in compliance with Local Budget Law. Meetings take place at Wheeler City Hall and/or via Zoom.
BUDGET COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED
The City of Wheeler is seeking three (4) volunteers who live within the city limits to serve as members of the Budget Committee (a three-year term) to fill vacant positions. If you are interested and have questions, please submit a Budget Committee Application.
Citizen Interest Forms for the Budget Committee can be dropped off or mailed to City Hall at PO Box 177, Wheeler, OR 97147. Applications may be also be emailed to citymanager@ci.wheeler.or.us. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
