Public Works Director opening
Scenic Wheeler is an Oregon North Coast community of 420. It is a full-service city with parks and public works (including water, streets, stormwater, etc.). Its city council seeks an analytical public works director skilled in customer service, communications and solving/preventing problems. He or she should enjoy teamwork, yet work well independently, and have experience working with municipal water, streets and parks.
Candidates must possess a Class 1 Water Distribution Certification.
Regional wastewater, fire and police services are provided by neighboring districts.
Compensation: Salary $50,000 - $65,000 DOQ, plus excellent benefits.
Staffing: 3.5 FTE, including a part-time public works technician.
